Enrique J. Abeyta

Rick Abeyta is the Founder and Managing Partner of 360 Global Capital LLC, a global fundamental long/short equity hedge fund, founded in November 2007. 360 Global takes a global industry-centric approach to investing with a heavy emphasis on tactical trading and quantitative and qualitative risk management. The strategy focuses on seven specific industries (media, telecom, energy, utilities, industrials, materials and transports), known for their capital intensive structures, in large and medium cap securities. Research "edge" is driven by the extensive experience of the investment team in these specific industries. Although the strategy applies fundamental analysis, it also employs a comprehensive "360 degree" quantitative approach to risk management and maintains a full-time independent risk manager. The risk manager has significant software development capabilities and has developed internal systems utilizing proprietary models developed by Mr. Abeyta across the last decade.

Prior to founding 360, Rick was a Managing Member and co-Founder of Stadia Capital LLC, which was formed in November 2000. At Stadia, he and his partners managed more than $1.25bb and Rick was responsible for all investments in the capital intensive sectors of the portfolio of the Stadia Core Strategy managing investments of over $700mm. In addition, Rick also held the position of Chief Risk Officer and head of Marketing.

Prior to Stadia, Rick held various positions at Red Coat Capital, Atalanta/Sosnoff Capital, Lehman Brothers and Barings Securities (Japan) Limited dating back to the early 1990s. Rick graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BA of Fine Arts in Japanese.

Martin Currie
Michael joined Martin Currie in 2010. He came to us from Sofaer Capital, where he had managed the European Hedge Fund with Steve Frost since 2000. Before joining Sofaer, Michael was head of international equities at Chase Asset Management, where he had overall responsibility for all non-US equity portfolios. Earlier, as managing director at Chase, he recruited Steve Frost as co-manager of a new European equity hedge fund. Michael began his career in 1986 at BZW Investment Management, where he was responsible for a variety of European unit trusts and segregated funds.

Peter Early
Galle Global Macro Partners, LLC

Peter has 15 years of experience as a global macro investor. Peter began his career in markets at Bankers Trust trading equity, interest rate, and FX derivatives from 1992-1995. From 1995 to 1997 he traded proprietary capital for the bank. In 1997, he joined Julian Robertson's Tiger Management where he oversaw Asian trading and was part of the macro team from 1997-1998. In 1999, Peter founded a global macro fund, Big Sky Capital, where he served as the CIO and CEO until 2006. In 2006, he returned all investor capital to pursue an opportunity working on the senior management team of casino operator Wynn Resorts, where he worked from 2006-2008. Returning to the markets in 2008, Peter headed the wealth management business for Guggenheim Partners, before leaving to co-found GGM in October 2009.

Peter holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Economics from Yale University.

Andrea S. Feingold, CFA

Feingold O'Keeffe Capital, LLC

Ms. Feingold is Co-founder, Investment Principal of Feingold O'Keeffe Capital, LLC, a credit focused alternative management firm. Ms. Feingold has 22 years of investment experience. Prior to founding the company, Andrea was Co-head of High Yield at PIMCO where she managed $3 bn in high yield assets. Earlier, she ran the leveraged credit team at Triumph Capital, a private equity firm, and from 1991-1998, was responsible for all high yield investments at Colonial Management, a Boston-based fund company. Andrea worked as a Private Placement Analyst at SunLife of Canada and began her career in the commercial bank credit training program at EAB, now part of Citigroup.

Feingold O'Keeffe Capital, LLC was co-founded in 2001 by Andrea Feingold and Ian O'Keeffe, former PIMCO Head of High Yield Trading. The firm's core strategies are long short credit and distressed senior loans. Intense fundamental research is the cornerstone of all investments, supported by the experience of the Co-founders who have worked together since the early 1990s managing credit assets.

Ms. Feingold graduated with a BA in Economics Cum Laude from Columbia University. She currently serves as Treasurer on the National Board of Directors for Year Up, a non-profit organization empowering urban young adults to reach their potential.

Alexander Gorra
Head of the International Business and Member of the Investment Committee

Alexander Gorra, a member of ARX’s Investment Committee, is responsible for International Business Development. Mr. Gorra was a partner at ARX Capital since 2006 (acquired by BNY Mellon in Jan 2008) where he was responsible for launching its international fund business. Mr. Gorra previously was responsible for UBS' Key Client business in Brazil (2001-2005). Additionally, Mr. Gorra was a Corporate Finance specialist in M&A and Capital Markets transactions at Rothschild (1996-2000) and JP Morgan (1994-1996).

Alexander graduated in 1994 from the Wharton School of Business.

Kevin Harrington
Managing Director
Mr. Harrington directs the Manager’s research and analysis and is a member of the Investment Committee. Prior to joining Clarium in the spring of 2003, Mr. Harrington was a PhD candidate in physics at Stanford University, consulted for Stanford’s CISAC/Institute for International Studies on fissile materials protection and national infrastructure security, conducted mathematics research for the Department of Defense, and received a BS in mathematics and physics from the University of Idaho.

Renee Haugerud

Renee Haugerud is the Founder, Chief Investment Officer and Managing Principal of Galtere Ltd., a registered investment advisor that manages in excess of $1 billion across several commodity-focused products. Its flagship commodity-based global macro strategy draws upon an array of markets and instruments to express real-asset-driven themes, using fundamental analysis for portfolio composition and proprietary technical value zones for trade implementation. Ms. Haugerud is noted for her profile and theme investment strategy as well as her disciplined approach to macro investing.

Throughout her thirty-year career, Ms. Haugerud has acquired expertise across all asset classes, through posts in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Switzerland, Australia, and Hong Kong. She began her tenure in financial markets by trading cash commodity markets in the United States and Canada for Cargill Inc. and Continental Grain. Stephen Hope

Stephen Hope is the founder and managing member of Outrider Management, LLC. Outrider is an SEC-registered investment advisor that specializes in high-yield and distressed corporate debt in the global emerging markets. The firm was launched in 2004 and is based in San Francisco. Mr. Hope has been investing in emerging market debt for over 15 years, beginning as a currency and arbitrage trader before identifying distressed debt as an area of particular opportunity. Mr. Hope has negotiated debt restructurings both directly and through creditor committees in dozens of situations across Latin America, Eastern Europe, and Asia. Outrider employs fundamental enterprise value-driven analysis and overlays political and currency risk considerations when identifying investment opportunities. Overvalued debt and equities that are discovered through Outrider's research process are used as short positions to hedge against market risk and enhance return.

Mr. Hope holds an A.B. in Economics from Princeton University.

Shawn Kang

Shawn Kang is the founder and CIO of Lighthorse Asset Management. Shawn has over 18 years of investment experience, principally in the Chinese market. He was formerly the Director and Chief Investment Officer of J&A Asset Management. Under his leadership, J&A had grown to become the most successful and largest fund management house in China. In addition, Shawn is also the founder of Investoday, a leading financial data provider in China since 2002.

Shawn holds a MA degree in Economics and a BS degree in Information Technology, both from Wuhan University, China.

Raymond Lin, CFA

Ray is the portfolio manager of Fuller & Thaler's US Equity Market Neutral strategy, which employs the firm's behavioral finance-based investment approach within a market-, sector-, and beta-neutral portfolio. Prior to joining the firm, he managed a long-short equity fund at Tricera Capital. He previously was a principal and portfolio manager at Sit/Kim International and a foreign currency options trader at JP Morgan.

Ray received a BS in Computer Science from the University of Michigan and an MBA and MA in Asian Studies from the University of California at Berkeley. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Claudio Macchetto

Claudio Macchetto is the Director of Global Platforms for Paulson & Co., a New York based hedge fund management company, managing approximately $30.8 Billion (as of July 1st, 2010) in assets across four fund families; the merger funds, the event driven funds, the credit opportunities funds and the recovery funds.

Mr. Macchetto was previously the Product Manager for HedgeForum, Citigroup Alternative Investments’ (“CAI”) third party single manager hedge fund platform. Prior to creating HedgeForum, Mr. Macchetto was Chief Financial Officer of CAI’s Funds of Hedge Funds business. Mr. Macchetto moved into the CFO role after working as Head of Business Development for CAI.

Mr. Macchetto joined CAI after working as Vice President in Citigroup’s Corporate Development team, where he worked on furthering Citigroup’s cross-marketing activities, providing competitor analysis for Citigroup’s executive team, and analyzing several potential acquisitions for Citigroup. Prior to this, Mr. Macchetto was First Vice President, Strategic Planning, Salomon Smith Barney, and Senior Associate with Booz Allen & Hamilton’s financial services consulting practice.

Mr. Macchetto received an M.B.A. in Finance and Strategic Management from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1996 and a B.A. in Business Administration from Georgetown University, magna cum laude, in 1991.

Ralph Nacey
WestSpring Advisors, LP

Mr. Nacey is a Principal of WestSpring Advisors, LP. Previously, he was Chief Investment Officer of Brigadier Capital Management, LLC. Prior to Brigadier, Mr. Nacey worked for Merrill Lynch, where he headed two different business efforts. First, Mr. Nacey built a North American derivatives structuring desk. Second, he headed a long/short proprietary trading effort that focused on corporate credit and structured finance. Prior to Merrill Lynch, Mr. Nacey worked at Credit Suisse First Boston in the Investment Banking Division, where he worked on M&A, debt, and equity offerings. Mr. Nacey also worked in the North American Structured Credit Products Group as a lead structurer working on new products.

Prior to CSFB, Mr. Nacey was a Captain in the United States Army. Among his assignments and qualifications were Executive Officer of Delta Battery 319th, 1-508th ABCT (Airborne Battalion Combat Team), Ranger, Airborne, and Senior Parachutist. Mr. Nacey earned a B.S. at the United States Military Academy at West Point, with a major in Physics and a minor in Nuclear Engineering.

George Papamarkakis

George is a co-founder, Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer at North Asset Management (“North”). George manages North’s flagship fund the MaxQ Fund, an uncorrelated alpha macro fund, which in 2009 was placed at No. 29 in the world’s top 100 best performing hedge funds as determined by Barrons. Formerly George was Managing Director at Morgan Stanley within the Fixed Income Department. George was instrumental in developing Morgan Stanley’s proprietary trading franchise and risk profile in derivatives, fixed income and foreign exchange in the European time zone. Over his six years at Morgan Stanley, George was one of the most consistently profitable traders globally for the firm, and his success was reflected in his position as one of the youngest-ever elected Managing Directors in Morgan Stanley’s history. Prior to working at Morgan Stanley, he worked at Vereinsbank AG and Christiania Bank.

George studied Political Science and International Relations at University of Athens, Law Department.

Jerry Swank founded Swank Capital in 2001. The firm currently has 3 lines of business and 8 Hedge Funds (3 of which are closed).

Mr. Swank originally formed the firm to capitalize on the MLP and Royalty Trust sectors both of which were under followed by Wall Street and under-owned by institutions. The goal was to bring a high quality proprietary research effort to these asset classes to take advantage of the market inefficiencies.

Prior to forming the firm, Mr. Swank spent five years with John S. Herold, Inc (JSH). JSH is a 50 year old independent Oil & Gas research and consulting company. He joined Herold in 1995 and served as Managing Director heading up its sales and new product development team until May 1998 when he assumed the position of President and CEO. During this period Mr. Swank developed an in-depth knowledge of the Worldwide Energy Industry, Sector profitability, Global growth prospects and Supply/Demand dynamics.

Prior to joining Herold, Mr. Swank spent 14 years with CS First Boston in Institutional Equity and Fixed Income Sales in its Dallas office; during the last ten years he was a First Boston Director and Southwestern Regional Sales Manager. Prior to First Boston, Mr. Swank worked for seven years on the buy side as an analyst and portfolio manager. Mr. Swank holds a B.A. from the University of Missouri (Economics) and an M.B.A. from the University of North Texas.

Previously, he managed a currency derivatives portfolio at Banc of America Securities. Doug started his career on the options desk at Cantor Fitzgerald.

He has an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and a BA in Political Science from Duke University.

David T. Young

Prior to joining Courage in 2008, Mr. Young was an Associate at Perella Weinberg Partners LP. Mr. Young was one of the founding professionals of Perella Weinberg Partners' restructuring group. Prior to Perella , Mr. Young was a Senior Analyst and founding professional at Kramer Capital Partners, an investment banking firm that provided financial advisory services to constituents in a broad range of restructuring and corporate finance transactions. Prior to Kramer Capital, Mr. Young co-founded Riverbend Capital Group, a quantitative market neutral hedge fund. Mr. Young started his career as an Analyst at Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin where he was involved in a variety of merger and acquisition and financial restructuring transactions.

Mr. Young received a B.S. in Commerce with concentrations in finance and international business from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.

Professor K.C. Chan was born in 1957. Before assuming the post of Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, Professor Chan was Dean of Business and Management of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). Prior to joining the HKUST Business School in 1993, Professor Chan had spent nine years teaching at Ohio State University in the USA.

Professor Chan received his bachelor's degree in economics from Wesleyan University and both his M.B.A. and Ph.D. in finance from the University of Chicago. He is specialized in assets pricing, evaluation of trading strategies and market efficiency and has published numerous articles on these topics.

Before joining the Government, Professor Chan held a number of public service positions including Chairman of the Consumer Council; director of the Hong Kong Futures Exchange; member of the Commission on Strategic Development, Commission on Poverty, the Exchange Fund Advisory Committee, the Hang Seng Index Advisory Committee, and the Hong Kong Council for Academic Accreditation. Professor Chan is also former President of the Asian Finance Association and former President of Association of Asia Pacific Business Schools.

David Eldon is one of the most respected bankers in Asia and the Middle East. He commenced his banking career with an Australian Bank in London in 1964, joining the British Bank of the Middle East (HSBC Group) in January 1968, in which month he was posted to Dubai. In 1979, after a variety of postings around the Middle East he went to Hong Kong, returning to The Middle East in 1984 when he was appointed Deputy Managing Director of The Saudi British Bank, based in Riyadh.

He returned to Hong Kong in 1987 with responsibility for the Group's largest multinational corporate clients and at the end of 1988 was appointed Chief Executive Officer Malaysia.

David returned once again to Hong Kong in 1992 where, after a temporary assignment as General Manager Hong Kong and China, he took up the position of General Manager in The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation's International department. He was made an Executive Director of the Bank in 1994, Chief Executive Officer in 1996 and Chairman in 1999.

In 1996 David also became Chairman of Hang Seng Bank, a member of the HSBC Group, and was appointed a director of HSBC Holdings plc in 1999. He retired from the Group in 2005.

He is currently Senior Adviser, PricewaterhouseCoopers Hong Kong. He is non-executive Chairman of the Dubai International Financial Centre Authority, and senior independent non-executive director of the Singapore listed Noble Group Limited. He is Special Adviser to the South Korean Presidential Committee for National Competitiveness, Office of the President , the first non-Korean to hold such a position.

He is a Director of listed companies Eagle Asset Management Ltd and Shui On Construction and Materials Co Ltd. He is Past Chairman of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce, Founding Member and past Chairman of the Seoul International Business Advisory Council, in addition to a number of corporate advisory roles, and Government and community appointments in Hong Kong.

Kenneth has contributed broadly & extensively to print, electronic and live financial media sources which include CNBC, Bloomberg, Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Dow Jones and various hedge fund industry specific publications. Prior to assuming the role of President, Kenneth had been with HFR Asset Management since 2002, most recently as Manager of the Investment Management Division. Prior to joining HFRAM, he had over 5 years of experience as a trading member of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and the Chicago Board of Options Exchange.

Kenneth has a MBA from the University of Chicago with a concentration in Finance, Statistics and Econometrics, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from the University of Illinois; he maintains the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst.
